Our Approach
Environment Setup and Configuration
The migration was also an opportunity to fix what had been tolerated. The new environment was configured with proper permissions, access controls, data connectors, and security protocols aligned to organizational requirements before any existing assets moved into it.
Power App Enhancement with Live ERP Feed
Static data imports were replaced with a live ERP feed that required no manual refresh. The enhanced Power App gave users current PO information, job data, and receipt records directly within the application without switching systems.
Service Reminder Automation
Manual service reminder tracking was retired in the new environment rather than carried over. Power Automate workflows triggered reminders based on asset maintenance schedules and ERP data automatically, eliminating the workaround that had persisted in the previous environment.
Workflow Migration and Integration
The team received a working environment, not a migration certificate. All workflows and apps were rebuilt with correct connection references in the new context, and functional equivalence was validated before access was handed over.
Training and Documentation
The team left with the knowledge to operate and extend what had been built. User-friendly documentation and hands-on training ensured nobody was dependent on external support to manage, modify, or build on the new environment.
