AI and automation value was demonstrated in the context of real work, not a sandbox. Copilot capabilities were integrated into existing workflows and Power Automate automation was built across operational use cases the organization actually ran.

Organizational Scaling and Champion Model

Adoption continued after the engagement ended because the internal advocates existed to sustain it. The champion model was built and activated before the engagement closed, ensuring the organization had the knowledge and structure to keep expanding independently.

Engagement Structure

Phase 1

CS17-P1: Copilot Foundations & Pilot Activation

Established baseline understanding of Copilot capabilities and governance. Conducted use case discovery workshops, identified 3–5 priority use cases, delivered foundational training, and activated priority Copilot pilots with a prompt library and metrics dashboard.

Phase 2

CS17-P2: Adoption Metrics & Power Platform Setup

Collected usage telemetry, conducted user sentiment surveys, and developed a Power BI adoption dashboard. Locked the pilot use case, configured Dataverse environment and security model, and delivered model-driven app fundamentals training.

Phase 3

CS17-P3: App Prototyping & Copilot Integration

Co-built the first functional version of the model-driven application across two sprint cycles. Integrated Copilot capabilities including automated summaries and contextual workflows. Conducted UAT with pilot users and delivered a reusable workflow library.
