Automated Daily Sync Between HR and Identity Systems

Schema Mapping and Sync Architecture
The sync architecture was designed to handle the edge cases before development started. Active Directory and the HR platform schemas were mapped, sync frequency established, and the full architecture planned before a single line of script was written, ensuring promotions, team changes, name updates, and terminations all had defined handling.
HR Platform to Active Directory Sync Development
Every field that had been drifting out of sync became a governed connection. The core sync script mapped display names, email addresses, titles, departments, and group memberships between the HR platform records and Active Directory, replacing manual correction with automated alignment.
Staging and Integration Testing
The production directory was not touched until the sync was validated against real data. Staging environment testing covered field mapping accuracy, edge case handling, and performance across a representative employee set before any live changes were made.
Automated Scheduling and Pre-Deployment Validation
The system was confirmed stable before the team took ownership. Automated daily scheduling was configured for production, pre-deployment validation ran against the live environment, and performance thresholds were confirmed before access was released.
Cloud-Ready Architecture and Ongoing Support

Developed the Paycor-to-AD sync script with full data transformations, implemented error handling for network and API failures with comprehensive logging, and set up a staging environment to test integration against real employee data.

Configured automated daily sync scheduling, conducted full unit testing and data consistency validation, and ran a pre-deployment feedback session in the staging environment to identify and resolve any remaining adjustments before production go-live.
